Door Supervisor training courses in physical interventions will be conducted nationally from January 2009 as part of the Security Industry Authorities competency renewal strategy as a mandatory training unit for security staff.
We have recently been provided conflict management and physical intervention training for staff employed within the NHS - Security Sector and Public Sector (Council Officers).
The duration of the training is tailored to our clients specific needs and has a duration of between 1 - 3 days.
This training has been very well received and students have expressed how much more confident they feel because they know how to deal with abusive, aggressive and violent persons in a more calm and rational manner.
They also recognise that should the need arise where the use of force is imminent, they can use methods which have been medically reviewed by The British Medical Association for effectiveness and will not be committing assault offences.
